MCC SS Counselling 2025: Round 1 Resignation Without Security Deposit Forfeiture – Official Notice

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for Super Specialty (SS) Counselling 2025 candidates.

Candidates who wish to resign from their Round 1 seat allotted through MCC have been granted a one-time opportunity to resign without forfeiture of their security deposit. This relaxation has been provided under exceptional circumstances in the interest of the candidates and should not be treated as a precedent for future counselling sessions.

Important Dates

  • Resignation Start: 31 July 2026 (12:00 PM)
  • Last Date: 04 August 2026 (06:00 PM)

Important Instructions

  • Candidates must visit their allotted college to submit their resignation.
  • Original documents can be collected from the allotted institute within the above-mentioned time period.
  • The resignation letter must be generated online through the MCC Portal by the college authorities.
  • Offline resignation letters will be treated as Null & Void and will not be accepted.

Candidates Are Advised To

  • Complete the resignation process well before the deadline.
  • Ensure that the resignation is processed online through the MCC portal.
  • Obtain confirmation of the online resignation before leaving the allotted institute.

This is a special relaxation announced by MCC for SS Counselling 2025 candidates and should not be considered applicable to future counselling rounds.
