The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for Super Specialty (SS) Counselling 2025 candidates.
Candidates who wish to resign from their Round 1 seat allotted through MCC have been granted a one-time opportunity to resign without forfeiture of their security deposit. This relaxation has been provided under exceptional circumstances in the interest of the candidates and should not be treated as a precedent for future counselling sessions.

- Resignation Start: 31 July 2026 (12:00 PM)
- Last Date: 04 August 2026 (06:00 PM)
Important Instructions
- Candidates must visit their allotted college to submit their resignation.
- Original documents can be collected from the allotted institute within the above-mentioned time period.
- The resignation letter must be generated online through the MCC Portal by the college authorities.
- Offline resignation letters will be treated as Null & Void and will not be accepted.
Candidates Are Advised To
- Complete the resignation process well before the deadline.
- Ensure that the resignation is processed online through the MCC portal.
- Obtain confirmation of the online resignation before leaving the allotted institute.
This is a special relaxation announced by MCC for SS Counselling 2025 candidates and should not be considered applicable to future counselling rounds.
